KC Family Session Spotlight | The Adkins Family

I am so excited to highlight the Adkins family in this month’s KC family session spotlight! This beautiful family found me on social media, as a former client posted a behind the scenes look at their family session. Tennille, the mom, saw that post and reached out about her daughter’s senior portraits! That one post led to so many referrals, which is such an honor. Referrals mean so much to me and are truly the biggest complement. I am forever grateful to every client who has ever passed along my name or sent someone my way. My first time meeting the Adkins family was for their daughter, Cora’s, senior portraits. This Pembroke Hill graduate was amazing to work with. We had so much fun together, not just during her senior portrait session, but later when I captured her BFF session with her four best friends in downtown KC!

While capturing her gorgeous senior images, I let her family know of an add-on service I offer to all my seniors’ families: a complete family session for $99, (typically starting at $200), which is good from the time they secure the senior portrait session to the date of their ordering session of their final senior gallery. The Adkins family quickly booked their discounted family session!

Kansas City Family Session

I love providing family sessions to my senior families. As seniors prepare to graduate and head off to college, you will want those updated family portraits. Oftentimes, depending on where the senior attends college or what job they land, it could be the last time the family is a true unit, together, living under the same roof. It is so important to capture these memories and moments while you can. I want every family to have beautiful images of their family decorating the walls of their home. Offering this special add-on to my senior families is a way to ensure they have those precious memories before their family dynamic begins to shift.

I’ve had the joy of capturing the Adkins family twice now. For their first family session, I met them at their gorgeous, old historic home. Shortly after arriving, their dog ate a chocolate chip cookie and had to be rushed to the ER! Thankfully he was okay and I was able to come back the next day to capture this beautiful family of five. For their most recent session we headed outdoors to the Museum of Art in Kansas City! Cora’s mom, Tennille, is the most laid back, down to earth client. I truly loved every minute of working with her, both for Cora’s senior portraits and now as their family photographer. I am thrilled they have these timeless and beautiful family images to cherish for generations to come.
