Kansas City Senior Spotlight | Summer Senior Session of Madeline
As fall is quickly rushing in to take place of summer, I am still reliving my favorite summer memories, many of which include photographing amazing seniors, like Madeline. She was the sweetest girl and we had the best time capturing her KC senior portraits this summer. I am so excited to share her gorgeous images for this Kansas City Senior Spotlight!

This lovely senior, who revealed that she can most often be found in jeans and a crop top, stayed true to her authentic self, by wearing an outfit she was most comfortable in for the start of our session.
What is YOUR definition of TRUE BEAUTY?
“True beauty is not how you look, dress, or what other people think of you, it’s your personality and how you treat others”
We had so much fun exploring a few areas in the Kansas City area. One of my favorite aspects of photographing senior sessions is getting to know each senior more personally and incorporating items or places that will make their session unique to them! Madeline told me that her favorite high school subject is science, so it came as no surprise that she is considering majoring in biology when she goes to college! Aside from academics, Madeline has many talents and hobbies that she enjoys. She is involved in dance and the orchestra and even brought along her instrument to use as props in a few photos!
Towards the end of Madeline’s dreamy senior session we found a field of tall grass where she twirled in her white summer dress! The sun slowly setting in the horizon created a lovely glow streaming in over the treetops. It was a beautiful evening and a wonderful way to end Madeline’s summer senior portrait session!
What words of advice would you give yourself as a new freshman coming into high school?
“Don't worry about what people think of you because they won't remember things you said, wore, or did in 5 years”
Madeline, thank you so much for allowing me to capture this celebratory and monumental moment in your life. I wish you all the best as you finish out this final year of your high school career and prepare for the next chapter of your future! Congratulations!
