3 Tips to Follow While You're in the Glam Chair 💄

I highly recommend professional makeup and hairstyling for all our senior clients on their special day as it really allows them to feel calm because their face is in professional hands! Who better to create your look than a makeup artist & hair stylist!?

Here’s a few quick tips to use when you’re in the glam chair that make your session day even better:

1. Trust your artist. Remaining calm and steady when products are being applied near your eyes is crucial. Twitching and squirming often causes errors. When you seem confident and collected it helps the artist focus on the task to ensure a stunning finish.

2. Do not take your cell phone with you into the makeup chair! Looking down at your phone throughout the session can actually create mistakes if your makeup artist needs you to be looking in a different direction for makeup application. It can also prolong your makeup session if your artist must continuously ask you to pull your head up to apply makeup.

3. Do not apply any makeup over your artist’s work. If you apply powder, concealer, foundation, blush, etc. over the professional makeup, you can actually ruin the makeup job. If you’re worried about acne, dark circles, etc., let your photographer take care of that in Photoshop! Just let us know about any issues you may have.
