5 Things that Happen AFTER Your Senior Session
I have been happily editing and delivering galleries to all my wonderful seniors, as I am in the middle of my busy season! As I was working on these beautiful galleries, I thought it would be the perfect opportunity to give you insight on 5 things that happen behind the scenes when your senior session is over! Many people don’t realize all there is to do after your pictures are taken!
Here are 5 Things that Happen AFTER Your Senior Session:
01. Culling
Culling can be a tedious process as I likely took hundreds and hundreds of beautiful photos that I will then go through! Yep, I look at each and every picture and keep only the top images that feature the best light, poses, and composition for your gallery. I remove any images that are unsatisfactory so you don’t have to see those photos where you blinked or turned your head. I narrow the gallery down for you so you have the best options to choose from.
02. Editing
Once the gallery is culled and the best photos remain, it is time to start editing! In this step, I edit the photos by cropping out background objects when needed, adjusting the temperature, and balancing the brightness and contrast. This creates a good clean slate to begin with as we move on to the next step.
03. Retouching
Retouching is my favorite step! This is where the magic happens! In this process, we will remove any blemishes, smooth stray hairs, and all the other steps that make an AGP image come to life. I will make sure the colors pop, enrich the tones, and sharpen the images, resulting in stunning portraits.
04. Gallery Prep & Delivery
During this process, I make sure your images are correctly named and sized for maximum output. The photos are then added to your online gallery! In your custom gallery hub, you can view all your photos, select your favorites, and create custom products using your favorite images.
05. Album Process + Product Selection
Now that you have your gallery of images and selected your faves, you can build your album! This final step of the process allows you to select your session favorites that will be featured in the album, including your album cover image. These images will be laid out in the most beautiful fusion album for you to enjoy for years to come. All you have to do is pick the images you want to include and I’ll take care of the rest! There are also other stunning products for you to choose from in the gallery shop. Once you’ve picked the product you want to display your favorite images, I take it from there.
